Freaky Dora Pumpkin
Erin was looking at her Dora pumpkin we carved a while back today and told me, "Wow Mom. Dora has really shrunk. She's kind of a freaky Dora!"
Not your kid anymore!
Erin wanted to ride a pony today but it cost like $4 so Bucky told her no. She got really mad and told him, "I'm not going to be your kid anymore Dad if you don't let me ride that horse!"
Earlier in the day she was supposed to pick up her toys and hadn't done it. I told her she was in trouble and she said, "No Mom you are in trouble!" I asked her why and she said because I don't want to pick up the toys!
Anyone else think the humor outweighs the attitude?

6 Month Well Baby Check
Meagan had her 6 month check-up yesterday. She is now 16.5 lbs, and 25 inches long. Oh and once again she has double ear infections! What is it with my kids and ear infections? She hadn't even been showing any symptoms. Last night she decided to complain either about her ears or her shots, but either way she made it a very very long night for me!
Fly Slapping
There were 3 flies in my livingroom driving me insane so I finally went and got the fly swatter. I sat back down and low and behold there were no flies bugging me anymore. I said to Erin, "Where do you think the flies went?" She gets this goofy grin on her face and says, "They are hiding because they don't want to get slap-ped!"
Chicken Nugget Burp
Yesterday I spoiled the kids and got them chicken nuggets from Wendy's for lunch. After his nap I was holding Levi while he woke up in our typical after-nap snuggle time. Suddenly he let this huge stinky burp. He looks up at me, grins, and says, "Yum! Chicken\ nuggets!"
I Like Myself
Laying in bed last night trying to fall back to sleep after getting up with Meagan for the third time I suddenly had a thought. I like myself. Its only taken me 27 years to come to that conclusion. Yes, I know I have a long way to go before I am perfect in any way. Yes, I know that my body is definitely not what it used to be. Yes, I know that I have a lot of things to improve. BUT the big thing is that I can like myself for who I am now while I make those improvements. Maybe that wouldn't be a big ah-hah moment for most people but for me it was an epiphany. One that I think will help me on the journey to becoming perfect. Isn't that the goal in life?

Rolling Away!
I had Meagan on the floor this morning and all the sudden she rolled over... not once, but 4 times! She wanted to get to her favorite butterfly. She was so proud of herself! Now she won't stop! Here comes the movement stage. Does that one ever end?
Oh, and she also decided that it would be okay to eat carrots and mashed potatoes and gravy. She just wanted the good stuff not that yucky baby food!

Levi "Helping"
Erin's chore this morning was to put the clean silverware in the drawer. She pulls her chair over and starts meticulously placing each piece in the correct place. Levi comes over to "help" and just starts chucking them in the drawer. Erin calmly (amazing!) picked up each piece he threw. When she was done she says, "All done Mom!" I told her thankyou and good job and all that stuff. Levi was right behind her wanting his praise. Since he was trying to help I told him Thank you Levi! He turns and gives Erin a big hug and says, "You're welcome Erin!"
Oh he also "helped" me wash the table, chairs, and door this morning. What a helper!

Curse funnies.
Yesterday I dropped an egg on my shoe while making cornbread. Of course it made a huge mess and I said D!@* IT! Levi looks at me and starts marching around the room changing, "Dang it! Dang it! Dang it!" Only not with the dang. At least I know that Bucky and I are the only ones who would know what he is saying!
I forgot to mention the funniest part of the the pumpkin patch. As we were coming out they had changed the entrance while we were inside. This little girl (names excluded) looks at it and says, "What the hell happened?" Her mom was with her and turned bright red. It was quite humorous.

Husband Love
My husband loves me and understands the way to my heart. Most men try things like chocolate and flowers. Not Bucky! He brings me Wingers and Pepsi. Last night at like 9 pm I said it was about time to go get wings again. So he runs out and brings me home wings so I can eat them in bed while we watch our movie. Yummmmmm! Such an awesome man!
Another Cow
Levi wanted to play dress up and be a cow because Meagan was one so here ya go! The only problem is you have to take your picture while he's on the moooove!
Jack-O-Lanterns!
We carved pumpkins the other day with some pumpkins that Bucky "stole" out of Aunt Vicki's garden. I told him those were probably the 2 (of the 15 or so) that she has been loving the whole summer. In all honesty I doubt it. Erin wanted to carve Dora and Levi wanted to carve Swiper. I have the pictures of how good Bucky did. Erin was definitely into it this year. She absolutely loves Halloween. It is her favorite holiday. Levi would have rather walked around spraying my cleaning solution on the sidewalk and Meagan just chilled in her bouncer.
This is Dora.
This is Swiper (after Levi dropped him)
This is my prissy daughter digging out the pumpkin.
She solved the problem and got a spoon.
Bucky with his masterpiece.
Levi cleaning the sidewalk.
Meagan watching it all and being happy.
Meagan's Early Halloween Day
I have this really adorable cow outfit I got from somewhere and Meagan looked so cute that I absolutely had to share!
In this picture she is sucking on her bottom lip which is her "pacifier!"
Pumpkin Patch Field Trip
Erin's preschool had a field trip to the Pumpkin Patch in Orem on Wednesday. I got to go with her while Bucky stayed home with Levi and Meagan. It was actually quite fun. Erin doesn't often get a parent to herself and she thought it was awesome. We played on the playsets, looked at the animals, got 'lost' in the corn maze, and ate chocolate chip pumpkin cookies. Here are some pictures I took.
Erin's class
Singing Halloween songs in the gazebo.
Aren't we cute?
The bunny was named Alice. (In wonderland?)
"Scary" tombstone land
Erin took this.
Upside down clown....fits her personality!
The class lined up along the caterpillar tube.

Scout Incident
I had scouts yesterday and one of the things we were supposed to cover was to have them draw a picture of a person, place or thing. One of the boys says, "Oh so we need to draw a verb." Another boy pipes right up and says, "No, idiot, draw a noun!"
I had to tell him to be nice but it was actually quite humorous. All the boys laughed including the one who said the verb comment so I guess it was all good.

New House
We are buying a new house. It has happened really quickly and I'm still spinning. We saw the house on Wednesday, offered Thursday afternoon, and had an acceptance on Friday morning. We are hoping to close the 1st or 2nd of November. Really fast!
Well, Erin was in the room when Bucky passed on the information that we got the house. She started talking and trying to talk us out of a new house because she likes her bed and toys. We explained to her that she will still have all of her stuff but at a new house. She still doesn't like the idea so we take her over so she can see her new room. Still not excited. We're hoping it changes over the next 2 weeks.
We weren't going to tell people yet because with the economy you never know if it will all go through until you actually sign the papers at closing. I took Erin to school and she tells her teacher, "Don't worry! When we are in my new house my mom will still bring me to school." Miss Amber looks at me and says, "Oh the things you learn at preschool!" Seriously everyone knew by that night. At least I'll get out of my scouting calling.
On an interesting note we will have moved when I was 6 weeks pregnant with Erin, when Erin was 6 days old, when Levi was 6 weeks old and when Meagan is 6 months old. Good thing I'm done with 3 or we'd be moving when the next one turns 6 years old!

Golden Corral Lunch
We went to lunch with Grandma and Grandpa Condor and Uncle Michael during Fall Break as well. We usually go to Golden Corral because my kids pig out on the fruit and Bucky loves the rolls. Anyway, I was helping Erin show off her knowledge asking her silly questions. I threw out, "Who's your favorite grandma?" She looks at me with a 'look' and points to Grandma Condor. Smart girl! Go with the present Grandma! (Of course, it changes on a daily basis depending on who is around. Her favorite Grandma to visit is Grandma Debbie because she has apple trees, swingsets, and dogs!)
While at lunch Michael was holding Meagan who cuddles with nobody lately. She's in a straight arm you stage and will only sleep in her carseat or her crib. She won't even sleep in our bed! Bucky tried the other night and she cried until he took her back to her own bed. So Michael was holding her and she starts running her fingers through his beard and gets this mesmerized look on her face. Next thing we know she has her head on his shoulder and is sound asleep with her fingers in his beard. As soon as he moved her hand she woke up and that was the end of that!

Meagan update pictures
Meagan is changing so fast its amazing. Here are a couple of pics I took the other day. Not to worry, however, her hair still stands straight up on top!
Backyard Campout
Bucky had Fall Break Thursday and Friday. Erin has been begging to go camping but of course it has been too cold in the mountains. Being the truly amazing father he is, Bucky put up the tent and braved the night with Erin and Levi in the backyard. He froze because he gave them the good sleeping bags. He even went above and beyond by building a tiny fire in the garden so they could roast marshmallows. Hey, I helped too! I made dutchoven potatoes (okay so I used the oven) and bought the marshmallows!
Also, while this blessed event was occuring I painted the hallway and stayed up with Meagan until midnight because the sweetheart didn't want to go to sleep!
Fall Leaves
We drove the Alpine Loop the other day. For those of you who don't know it takes you up American Fork Canyon and around and out Provo Canyon. The leaves were beautiful! We stopped to gather some and Levi climbed up with me. He turns around and starts running down the mountain full tilt and, of course, he falls. He's laying in between to bushes with bright red leaves saying, "Oh Momma I fell down! Help me! Help me!" It was one of those funny moments. We stopped at the falls in Provo canyon to have a picnic. Believe me it was gourmet! As in, ham & cheese sandwiches and pudding snack packs! I think it was an enjoyable time. The leaves are the only thing I love about Fall!
